MSME
A Special Capital Subsidy of 25% on the eligible plant and machinery subject to a maximum of Rs.30 lakh is extended to 13 thrust sector enterprises setup anywhere in the State viz., Electrical and Electronic Industry, Leather and Leather goods, Auto parts and components, Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, Solar Energy Equipment, Gold and Diamond Jewellery for exports, Pollution Control equipments, Sports Goods and Accessories, Cost effective building materials, Readymade Garments, Food Processing, Plastic and Rubber Industries.
PMEGP
Government of India has approved the introduction of a new credit linked subsidy programme called Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) by merging the two schemes that were in operation till 31.03.2008 namely Prime Minister’s Rojgar Yojana (PMRY) and Rural Employment Generation Programme (REGP) for generation of employment opportunities through establishment of micro enterprises in rural as well as urban areas.
UYEGP
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Department, Government of Tamil Nadu introduced the scheme “Unemployed Youth Employment Generation Programme (UYEGP)” which aims to mitigate the unemployment problems of socially and economically weaker section of the society particularly among the educated and unemployed to become self employed by setting up Manufacturing / Service / Business enterprises by availing loan up to the maximum of Rs.10 Lakhs, Rs. 3 Lakhs and Rs. 1 Lakh respectively with subsidy assistance from the State Government up to 25% of the project cost.
NEEDS
In accordance with the G.O Ms No 49 MSME Dept dated 29.10.2012, the educated youth will be given entrepreneur training, assisted to prepare their business plans and helped to tie up with financial institutions so as to set up new Manufacturing and Service ventures.Assistance under the Scheme is available only for NEW Projects for which loans sanctioned specifically under the NEEDS.
